2012 Exhibition Prospectus

Dear Artist:

Thank you for your interest in the St. Catherine of Bologna 13th Annual Photography, Art and Poetry Exhibition & Sale, featuring Musical Performances.  This year, entries will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis and we will be declining entries after our maximum number is met. All applications and Artist Bios are due by February 22, 2012. Please check this website for the status of open entry slots for this year’s show.

This year we have provided the ability for you to submit your application online and to use a credit card or PayPal account to pay your entry fee. We will also continue to provide the "standard" application form which you can download, print and mail along with a check.

Receiving day for your photography, art, sculpture and poetry entries is Sunday, March 11, 2012 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at St. Catherine of Bologna Parish Center,112 Erskine Road (right side of the upper parking lot), Ringwood, NJ . All artwork must be received March 11 so it can be catalogued, tagged and safely stored for the exhibition. In addition to your juried submissions, please consider donating an additional original piece of artwork to our Silent Auction.

Once again our judges will be giving a special Ringwood Award for the best piece of art, photography, and poetry depicting Ringwood. Please mark your entries depicting Ringwood in the designated spot on your application and labels.

New this year: The Irish Spirit Award! If you would like to enter a piece of art, photography, sculpture or poetry that depicts Ireland or the Irish spirit, you will be eligible for a special Irish Spirit Award!

We provide an opportunity for artists to present their portfolio of works for sale on a CD that is presented on a large screen at our sales booth. This courtesy has been extended to our artists at no extra charge. If interested, send your CD along with your completed application. For those submitting photography and/or art, please attempt to make multiple prints available for sale through special order, in case more than one patron is interested in purchasing your work. We will also display your business cards (standard size only) at the information desk.

Once again, thank you for your support. We look forward to viewing your artistic work and seeing you at the Exhibition.

Sincerely,

David J. Nocera,   Exhibition Coordinator
