About Our 2013 Exhibition

To My Dear Fellow Patrons of the Arts:

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate our 14th year!

SPIRITUAL AWARD - This year is a special one as it coincides with the 600th celebration of the birth of our Patron Saint of the Arts, our namesake, Saint Catherine of Bologna and her Feast Day on March 9, 2013. In her honor, we are adding a special category and award in Photography, Art, Sculpture and Poetry – The Spiritual Award.

Our application has been adjusted to reflect this and it will be up to the artist to identify their work(s) as having a Spiritual content. They will be judged as all categories will and we will be awarding one award each for the best in Photography, Art, Sculpture and Poetry. We look forward to your submissions for this new Blessed event.

HIGH SCHOOL SHORT STORY VIDEO PRESENTATION - Also new this year is an initial exhibition of Short Story videos contributed by selected Lakeland High School video students. Each short film with be approximately 5 – 7 minutes in length and will be presented on Saturday afternoon March 9, 2013 in the upstairs Poetry Gallery/Coffee House. Videos will be subject to the same Pastoral guidelines of the Church outlined in the prospectus.
